About Mario

Mario's late teens and early twenties were spent traveling around the country, hitch-hiking, exploring, building friendships, building a treehouse, herding sheep, street performing, and so much more. Eventually, he found himself back in his hometown in New York and decided to pursue his greatest passion, magic, professionally. At first it was only a weekend gig, and Mario's weekdays were spent as a special education teacher aide for an inspiring group of kids. Eventually, in 2006, with his wife-to-be Katie by his side as his business director, the magic business became a full-time venture. Since then, many opportunities have come their way, including the publication of a children's magic card tricks book for Barnes & Noble, a display of Mario's handcrafted magic art pieces at the world renowned Tannen's Magic Store, performances for Lincoln Center, the New York Times, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Discovery Communications, schools aplenty, and so many more wonderful fixtures and families in the NYC area and beyond. Mario has been featured in Small Magazine, the New York Post, MAGIC Magazine, the Journal News, the White Plains Times, the Nyack Patch, and recommended by Time Out New York Kids magazine, the New York Times, CBS News, NY1 and more!Mario and Katie are currently developing a live action television series for preschoolers. With every project they pursue, they are proud and committed to their vision of providing undyingly positive, uplifting, inventive, imaginative, and utterly unique entertainment for the young and young-at-heart.

Children's Magic Show

Mario's children's show is uplifting, inventive, highly interactive, and oh-so-original. Reminiscent of old-time slapstick performances, Mario's performance is at once ridiculously silly and meticulously crafted. Watch out for silly antics, colorful, handmade props, and a live dove named Mozzarella! Plus balloon animals after the show!

Mingle Magic

Mario works out of his pockets and with objects borrowed from guests to create magic that happens close-up and right before your eyes. It's the perfect way to add whimsy to your event and get people talking. This can be done from a "magic station," in a "walk-around" setting, or as a combination of both.
